> Amazfit spent July adding HYROX pacing, Stryd integration and a two-point body sensor, the sort of tools that usually sit well above its price tier.

Amazfit pushed firmware to the Active 3 Premium in early July. [Gadgets and Wearables](https://gadgetsandwearables.com/2026/07/05/amazfit-active-3-premium-3-24-0-1/): "The release brings HYROX race tools, Stryd pace integration, a new swimming heart rate mode through Helio Strap and multi device data syncing." HYROX Virtual Pace builds segmented strategy times from a target finish, so the watch plans the race station by station instead of leaving the runner to guess mid-event.

The Helio Strap Pro takes a different route to the same customer. [Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrewwilliams/2026/07/06/amazfit-helio-strap-pro-solves-fitness-tracker-issue-with-second-wearable/): "The primary wearable is ideally strapped to the upper arm, rather than the usual wrist position, while the second is worn around the waist." Splitting limb movement from whole-body movement is a training-lab idea, and the same month ZeppOS 6 reached the cheap Bip Max, so none of this is confined to the expensive end of the range.
