> Series 12 and Ultra 4 owners can try the two listening features now if they install a developer beta; most people should wait for the public beta, expected around mid-December.

Apple's 27.3 developer betas, out November 3, switch on the two Audio Intelligence features it showed with the [Apple Watch Series 12](https://idevice.com/smart-watches/apple-watch/roadmap) and Ultra 4 in September, [Engadget reports](https://www.engadget.com/2304993/apples-latest-watchos-27-beta-enables-siri-recap-and-live-rewind-audio-features/). Live Rewind is the simple one. Double-press the Digital Crown and the watch shows the last 15 seconds of speech as text, which you can ask Siri about or save to the Siri app. A chime and an animation play even in silent mode, so the people around you know, and the text goes away about 30 seconds after the screen dims.

Siri Recap goes further. Once you turn it on, it writes short summaries of the conversations the watch hears, each with a title and details like dates, deadlines and prices, though it does not say who said what, as [Digital Trends explains](https://www.digitaltrends.com/wearables/apple-watchs-new-ai-memory-features-enter-beta-testing-and-they-could-change-how-you-remember-or-forget-conversations/). You can save a recap to Notes or Journal, and anything you leave alone deletes itself within seven days. Both features work only on the Series 12 and Ultra 4. Unless you are happy running developer software on your watch, wait for the public beta, which is expected around mid-December.
