> Google Health 5.11 brings Health Guardian to the Fitbit Air, but only with a Health Premium subscription, while Pixel Watch owners get it free. Workouts of 15 minutes now log themselves.

[Fitbit Air](https://idevice.com/fitness-trackers/fitbit-air/roadmap) owners who pay for Health Premium can now turn on blood pressure and insulin resistance trends. Both arrive in version 5.11 of the Google Health app, which is rolling out on Android and iOS now, Android Central reported.

Google calls the pair Health Guardian. It first showed up in September for the Pixel Watch, where it also covers sleep breathing quality. The idea is slow change over weeks, not a reading of how you are right now. Google says the results are wellness indicators, not a medical diagnosis.

Blood pressure trends appear after you've worn the Air for five days or more. Insulin resistance needs seven, and it reports monthly shifts. If you set it up in 5.11, your first monthly health summary lands at the start of November.

On the Pixel Watch 3, 4 and 5 these features are free. On the Fitbit Air they sit behind the Health Premium subscription. [Fitbit Edge](https://idevice.com/fitness-trackers/fitbit-edge/roadmap) owners get Health Guardian around October 27.

In the same update, a workout of 15 minutes or more is logged on its own, as long as your heart rate stayed up the whole time. Google says it now leans more on your routine and history to guess what you were doing, and Fitbit trackers and Pixel watches can spot up to 100 activity types. That part also comes to the Fitbit Edge from October 27.

Sleep tracking is better at catching when you're awake in the night, and naps are easier to edit. Glucose tracking is now just called Glucose, and syncing with Abbott's Lingo sensor is faster.

Most of these changes reach the Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 3, 4 and 5. If you own an Air without Health Premium, you get the workout and sleep changes but not the two new trends.
