# Galaxy Buds On reach the US on November 6 for $229

Samsung has confirmed a US price of $229 for the [Galaxy Buds On](https://idevice.com/earbuds/samsung-galaxy-buds-on/roadmap), its first clip-on, open-ear earbuds, with sales starting in early November, [SamMobile reported](https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-buds-on-launching-in-the-us-in-november-here-are-all-the-details/). They [go on sale November 6](https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-buds-on-us-release-date-price-3728523/), in black and in one size. Each bud weighs 6.65 grams and plays up to 9.5 hours of music on a charge, or 38 hours with the case, and they are rated IP54 for dust and splashes.

They make the most sense next to a Galaxy phone. Many of the features need one running One UI 8.5 or later, and [SoundGuys found](https://www.soundguys.com/samsungs-galaxy-buds-on-launch-165278/) there is no multipoint Bluetooth, so they can't stay connected to two devices at once, while automatic switching works only between Samsung devices. Samsung pitches them as a second pair beside the [Galaxy Buds4 Pro](https://idevice.com/earbuds/samsung-galaxy-buds-pro/roadmap/buds-4-pro), for outdoor runs or when you need to hear what's around you. If you use an iPhone or another Android phone, $229 buys you less, so wait for the first reviews of how they sound before you order.
