> Gentle Monster and Warby Parker designed the two launch frames. Samsung has not shown one under its own brand.

Samsung showed two pairs of glasses at Unpacked in July and neither was a Samsung design. One comes from Gentle Monster, the South Korean eyewear label, and one from Warby Parker.

Both brands had already put frames on a stage at Google I/O on 19 and 20 May, where Google showed the first two pairs of what it calls Intelligent Eyewear. Those first collections go on sale this fall in select markets.

The two frames Samsung has shown carry a partner's name.

Prescription was promised before the hardware existed. Warby Parker and Google said in May 2025 that their first line of intelligent eyewear would take prescription and non-prescription lenses, and both companies have since said more styles and prescription options are coming later.

The frames weigh about fifty grams and use photochromic lenses, which darken as the light around you gets stronger. That is the same feature Meta sells as a paid add-on across its own frame styles.

Warby Parker promised prescription lenses in May 2025. The frames reach shops this fall.
