> Up to nine hours a charge, plus seven more charges from the case. The 155mAh figure that circulated for twenty months measures the cell, not the run time.

Samsung rates its glasses at up to nine hours on a single charge. The case holds up to seven more full charges before it needs power itself. Won-Joon Choi, the company's mobile chief operating officer, gave CNET the same two numbers on announcement day.

A 155mAh battery, a measure of how much charge a cell holds rather than how long it lasts, has been attached to these glasses since a Wellsen XR report in November 2024, and it reappeared in spec sheets through April 2026. It matches Ray-Ban's glasses to within a milliamp-hour.

A separate battery leak in March 2026 described the display-equipped model rumoured for 2027, not the pair shown in July, per 9to5Google.

Nine hours is a figure a buyer can hold a day of wear against. A capacity number cannot be, because how long a battery lasts depends on how hard the hardware works it.

Choi gave the number on 22 July. The 155mAh figure had been in circulation for twenty months.
