> The front looks like a carry-over, but the evidence is third-party screen protectors and not Samsung’s own dimensions.

Ice Universe shared an image of five versions of a screen protector that the tipster says were made for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. [The display shape, edge curvature, outline and bezel size all appear to match the S26 Ultra’s](https://www.sammobile.com/2026/10/01/galaxy-s27-ultra-front-design-could-nearly-identical-galaxy-s26-ultra/), and Ice Universe called it “the smallest change in front display design between two consecutive Ultra flagships in Samsung’s history.” The tipster expects the two phones’ screen protectors to be interchangeable.

Screen protectors are [an early indication of Samsung’s design direction](https://sammyguru.com/galaxy-s27-ultra-screen-protectors-leak/) and not exact references for a phone’s final bezels, so the exact screen size and bezel width haven’t leaked yet. The same tipster has put the S27 Ultra at [7.9mm thick and 218 grams](https://idevice.com/galaxy-s27-ultra-could-weigh-218-grams-at-the-same-thickness). That’s four grams over the S26 Ultra’s 214. A bigger battery, 5,700mAh against 5,000mAh, is expected. On the back, the phone is expected to get a new camera layout built around a rectangular slab.
