> Samsung's first Android XR glasses have no display, running Gemini through a camera, microphone and speakers in Warby Parker and Gentle Monster frames.

Samsung's first pair has no screen in the lens. [Mashable](https://mashable.com/tech/samsung-galaxy-unpacked-galaxy-glasses-revealed): "According to CNET, these glasses are display-free but have a camera, microphone, and speakers." They run Gemini and Bixby and pair with Android phones and Wear OS watches, so everything they do arrives as audio or through the phone.

The frames are the other half of the pitch. [SamMobile](https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-google-smart-glasses-bring-gemini-everyday-life/): "These Intelligent Eyewear devices have lightweight frames and a slim profile for all-day comfort while maintaining everyday durability." The Gentle Monster version looks nothing like the concept Samsung showed earlier, which suggests the eyewear brands are doing more here than lending a logo.
