# Galaxy Z Fold 9 and 9 Ultra are tipped to keep today's cameras

The Galaxy Z Fold 9 will keep two rear cameras, a 50MP main and a 50MP ultrawide, and still won't have a zoom lens, [according to tipster WalleGalaxy on X](https://sammyguru.com/galaxy-z-fold-9-fold-9-ultra-camera-leak/). The Fold 9 Ultra gets a 200MP main, a 50MP ultrawide and a 3x zoom, the same layout as the Fold 8 Ultra. Korean leaker Lanzuk [said much the same on Naver](https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-9-ultra-camera-leak-3731206/), with no bigger sensors on either phone.

WalleGalaxy did call the Ultra's 200MP a new main camera, so that sensor could still change. Zoom on the wide Fold would take a second, pricier model, and Samsung could go with a cheaper FE instead. Samsung hasn't confirmed any of it. These phones are 2027 models, so if you've been putting off a Fold 8 or Fold 8 Ultra for better photos, these leaks give you no reason to keep waiting.
