> Granola's meeting notepad now runs on Apple Watch, aimed at conversations away from a desk, with one tap to record and a green screen confirming it is listening.

Granola, the AI notepad that listens to meetings and writes them up, released an Apple Watch app. It is built for the conversations that happen away from a computer: walking one-on-ones, whiteboard sessions, and coffee meetings. One tap starts note-taking, a green screen and a sound confirm it is listening, a complication puts recording one tap from the watch face, and scheduled meetings can nudge you. It is free, and it completes a march from Mac to iPhone to wrist.

On the Mac the app earned its reputation by capturing system audio from Zoom, Meet and FaceTime, which is a different act from holding a microphone up to a room. Doing this on a watch means recording people in person, without a laptop open as the visible sign that something is being captured. Mashable's practical note is that heavy use wants the [Ultra 3](https://idevice.com/smart-watches/apple-watch-ultra/roadmap/ultra-3) for the battery, which is a fair reading of what continuous listening costs.
