You buy the glasses and the features come with them. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-do-i-need-a-subscription)) - **How long does the battery last?** It runs about 48 hours, so a couple of days of ordinary use. That is roughly six times what camera glasses manage, because there is no camera and no radio working hard. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-how-long-does-the-battery-last)) - **What does it cost?** It costs $599, which is $220 above Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 and buys a display in the lens instead of a camera on the frame. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-what-does-it-cost)) - **Can it get wet — shower, pool, swimming?** Rain and sweat are fine, the shower and the pool are not. The rating is IP65, which covers jets of water but not immersion. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-can-it-get-wet-shower-pool-swimming)) - **Does it work with my phone?** Yes, with an iPhone or an Android phone, over Bluetooth 5.4, so the glasses still rely on a phone connection rather than working fully on their own. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-does-it-work-with-my-phone)) - **Can I get prescription lenses?** Yes. The frames are glazed to your prescription, which is the normal route here rather than a clip-in insert. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-can-i-get-prescription-lenses)) - **How good is the camera?** There is no camera. These are display glasses built for reading text in the lens, and the absence is deliberate: you can wear them into a room without anyone having to think about being recorded. If you want a camera, that is Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 at $379. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-how-good-is-the-camera)) - **How does it connect?** It connects over Bluetooth 5.4, which is part of how it holds a 48 hour battery in a frame this size. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-how-does-it-connect)) - **How wide is the field of view?** It covers 27.5 degrees, which is a couple of lines of text in front of you rather than a screen you look around. ([on the Guide](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/even-realities/roadmap#can-how-wide-is-the-field-of-view)) ## Works with Smart glasses that work with iPhone and Pixel phones.
