The LX1 is its own Android 15 computer with a camera, speakers, mics and 128GB of storage built in, not a display that pairs with your phone. ### How much does it cost, and why is the Remote Assist Kit cheaper?

LX1 lists at $2,199.99 on Vuzix's own store, one SKU, no variants. The Remote Assist Kit holds the same glasses plus a battery pack, mounts, a hard case and pre-loaded Teams and Zoom software, and lists at $2,099.99. Vuzix does not explain anywhere why the bundle costs less, so treat them as two SKUs and ask Vuzix which one fits your rollout. ### Which is right for us, LX1 or M400?

Vuzix answers this itself. It calls LX1 purpose-built for warehouse and industrial environments, freezer-rated and ruggedized for cold storage and high-impact use, and calls M400 an all-purpose device with hot-swappable batteries for workflows that move between tasks and environments. Its own verdict: the M400 for flexibility across multiple workflows, the LX1 for sustained single-shift warehouse and industrial operations. M400 lists at $1,499.99. ### How long does the battery last?

Vuzix rates LX1 at a 10-hour runtime, which is what it means by full-shift. The battery is a removable 7000mAh pack that clips in and out of the glasses, so a spare is a swap rather than a charge stop. ### How do we charge a fleet of them?

Vuzix sells a charger kit that fills four LX1 batteries at once, each bay with its own LED so a supervisor can see which packs are ready. ### How cold can it work in?

Vuzix rates LX1 to operate from -20C to 45C and to survive storage from -30C to 70C, tested to the MIL-STD-810H standard. Operating humidity is 0% to 95%. ### Is it water or dust resistant?

Vuzix does not state an IP rating for LX1. Its Smart Glasses page calls the device out for a "Rugged IP 4 Certification", which is not a complete IP code, and the LX1's own ENVIRONMENT spec lists temperature and humidity and no IP figure at all. The glasses, the 7000mAh clip-in battery, a headband with an easy-release mount, a user manual, a mounting guide and a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
