> The leaked memo gave the device a name and no specifications. The clip-on microphone, the 103 languages and the recording light all belong to Limitless, the startup Meta bought in 2025.

Meta's leaked memo named an AI pendant and gave no specifications for it. Nothing has been reported about a camera on it, about how it is worn, or about which languages it handles.

Limitless, the startup Meta bought in 2025, already sells a product called the Pendant. It is a clip-on Bluetooth microphone that records what you say and hear through the day and turns it into transcripts, summaries and a database you can search. According to Limitless, it transcribes in 103 languages.

Those are the specifications of a shipping product Meta owns, not of the thing in the memo.

Limitless puts a white LED on its Pendant to show when it is recording. Meta has not described an indicator of any kind on its own hardware.

Limitless has been transcribing 103 languages since 2025. The device in the leaked memo has no published specifications.
