> Texas vs. Oklahoma opens a weekly run of 180-degree games in Quest's TV app, with a week of replays after each and the playoff to follow.

Meta and ESPN will stream select college football games live to Quest headsets this season, filmed in 180 degrees so the whole field sits in front of you. The first one is Texas against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl on October 10, the Red River Rivalry.

The games play inside the TV app on Quest. They stream in 8K with Dolby Atmos, the surround format that places sound above you as well as around you. Missed kickoff? Full-game replays and short recaps stay on demand for a week after each game.

Meta hasn't posted the full schedule yet, per Road to VR. It has committed to a game every week of the regular season, then Conference Championship Weekend and the College Football Playoff, ending with the national championship game in January 2027.

At Connect 2026 last month, Meta said it plans more than 100 live sporting events in 2027, through its deals with MLB, NBC Sports, TNT Sports and UFC. It tied that slate to the [Meta VR Glasses](https://idevice.com/head/meta-phoenix/roadmap), which go on sale next spring for $1,299.

In the VR Glasses, the processor, fan and battery sit in a pack that clips to your pocket, and a cable runs to the frames on your face. Their micro-OLED screens are the most pixel-dense display Meta has sold, at 37 pixels per degree. The view is narrower. The VR Glasses show 70 degrees across, a [Quest 3](https://idevice.com/head/meta-quest/roadmap/quest-3) shows 110, and the football stream is 180.

When the Quest 3S launched in 2024, it came with 52 live NBA games streamed in the headset. This season's football runs every week from now through January, and next year's plan spans four sports partners instead of one league.

For Saturday's game, a Quest is the only way to watch it like this. The VR Glasses join the sports lineup when they ship next spring.
