> Germany, France and Italy follow on October 13. US owners get voice-driven hologram calls on WhatsApp later this fall.

[Meta Ray-Ban Display](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/ray-ban-display/roadmap) has been a US-only product since it launched last year, and you could only buy it in a store after a fitting. At Connect on Wednesday, Meta put the $799 glasses on sale in the UK at £749 and in Canada at CA$1,149, and it opened online ordering in all three countries. France, Italy and Germany get online preorders at €899, with the glasses arriving October 13. Prescription lenses come through meta.com in the US and Canada, and at select stores in the UK, France and Italy, as [Road to VR reported](https://roadtovr.com/meta-ray-ban-display-int-launch-connect-2026/).

US owners also get Hologram calls on WhatsApp, in Early Access later this fall. The Meta AI app builds a photorealistic avatar of you from a short self-capture. The glasses can't see your face, so the avatar runs on sound alone. In Meta's words, "Your hologram is driven entirely by your voice, and the hologram model infers your expression from what you're saying and how you're saying it." Cycling and transit directions reach the US and Canada later this month, and turns can now point at landmarks, so you might be told to "turn left at the yellow house" rather than given a street name. A new Explore app lists what runs on the glasses.
