This is the company that spent years selling mid-range and affordable phones, and now it's asking flagship money for a regular slab. A recent retailer leak put a 512GB model at $1,800, so check how much storage $1,599 gets you before you order.

The screen is what Motorola wants you to notice. It's a 6.8-inch, 120Hz tandem OLED, with two layers of LEDs stacked for more brightness, and it peaks at 12,000 nits. Motorola fit a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon cell, with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The chip is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, and a vapor chamber 40% bigger than before helps keep it cool.

The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-910 at f/1.6, next to a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP periscope that reaches 100x zoom. The fourth sensor back there isn't a camera at all. The Action Sensor only tracks tiny changes in light, and it uses them to freeze fast-moving subjects without blur. It's billed as the first of its kind. The selfie camera is also 50MP and shoots 4K video.

Memory is 16GB of LPDDR5X, and a RAM boost borrows storage to stretch that to 24GB for Gemini Intelligence and Motorola's Qira assistant. Bang & Olufsen tuned the dual speakers. It ships with Android 17 and gets seven years of updates. You can pick Capulet Olive or Coal Smoke.
