> Pixel Watch 5 keeps the same case, crown and charger as last year. The only thing new on the outside is the colour of it.

Renders of the [Pixel Watch 5](https://idevice.com/smart-watches/google-pixel-watch/roadmap) show the same case as last year's, in the same 41mm and 45mm sizes, with the same contact-pin charger, band system, buttons and rotating crown. [9to5Google](https://9to5google.com/2026/07/30/pixel-watch-5-angles-leak/) credits Evan Blass with the images and reads them as Google settling on the design for the long run.

The change is colour. [Android Headlines](https://www.androidheadlines.com/2026/07/new-pixel-watch-5-leak-shows-bold-and-vibrant-colors.html) has silver and copper cases that match the frames on the Pixel 11 Pro, which is Google lining the watch up with the phone rather than changing the watch. It is revealed on August 12, and everything worth knowing is inside a case these renders show you nothing about.
