> The week's new reports on upcoming Apple, Samsung and Google devices, each with how the reporter's earlier reports have turned out.

Here is what was reported this week about devices that have not launched, and how often each reporter has been right before.

### Apple iPhone 18

Leaker Majin Bu [shared a dummy unit of the standard iPhone 18](https://www.macobserver.com/news/a-leaked-iphone-18-dummy-reveals-a-massive-camera-bump-change/) with the camera housing stretched across the full width of the back. The two main cameras stay in the top left corner, and an etched plate exposes the MagSafe magnets. A dummy shows the shape of a phone, not the finished design.

Track record for [Majin Bu](https://idevice.com/sources/majin-bu) over 9 reports: 1 right, 8 not settled yet.

### Apple iPhone Duo

Mark Gurman said on his Power On podcast that Apple is [testing iPhone Duo 2 prototypes with Face ID under the outer display](https://www.macrumors.com/2026/10/22/iphone-duo-2-prototypes-under-display-face-id/), and that the feature is not final. The first Duo uses a fingerprint sensor in its side button. Gurman also said Apple is weighing an Action button for a future Duo.

Track record for [Mark Gurman](https://idevice.com/sources/mark-gurman) over 188 reports: 44 right, 5 partly right, 8 wrong, 2 plans that changed after the report, 129 not settled yet.

### Google Pixel Watch

Stephen Schenck and AssembleDebug found text strings in a recent release of Google's Pixel Watch Management Service app that point to [a snooze for auto-bedtime mode](https://www.androidauthority.com/pixel-watch-bedtime-snooze-3725055/). One string asks "Delay bedtime?". Today the watch takes its bedtime hours from the phone and follows them on its own.

Track record for [Stephen Schenck and AssembleDebug](https://idevice.com/sources/stephen-schenck-and-assembledebug) over 6 reports: 6 not settled yet.

### Samsung Galaxy S27

Tipster Lanzuk, who posts as yeux1122 on Naver, says the [Galaxy S27 series is on schedule to launch in January](https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s27-launch-window-leak-3724822/), earlier than recent years, and that February is the latest it could slip. Lanzuk also says the components for the base and Plus models are settled. An earlier Lanzuk report on the S27 was about price increases of roughly 100,000 to 130,000 won in Korea.

Track record for [Lanzuk (yeux1122)](https://idevice.com/sources/lanzuk-yeux1122) over 6 reports: 6 not settled yet.

### Samsung Galaxy S27

The tipster kro [says Samsung plans 8GB RAM versions](https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-may-change-galaxy-s27-memory-options-as-chip-prices-soar/) of the Galaxy S27 and S27+ beside the 12GB ones, which could keep starting prices in check as memory chips get more expensive. The same tip says storage speeds would differ across the line, with some models on faster UFS versions than others.

Track record for [kro](https://idevice.com/sources/kro) over 5 reports: 5 not settled yet.

### Samsung Galaxy S27

WalleGalaxy [claims the Galaxy S27 Pro will have 16GB of RAM](https://sammyguru.com/galaxy-s27-series-ram-storage-options-leak/) on the 1TB storage version. Earlier leaks said only the Ultra would get 16GB and put the Pro at 12GB, so this would close the gap between the two.

### Samsung Galaxy S27

The Elec [reports that Samsung will use a new M2700 5G modem](https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-s27-plus-exynos-m2700-modem-more-power-efficient/) in the Exynos 2700 versions of the Galaxy S27 and S27+. It keeps the 4nm process of the Galaxy S26 modem but draws less power and moves to 3GPP Release 18. A 2nm M2800 modem for the Galaxy S28 is in development.

Track record for [The Elec](https://idevice.com/sources/the-elec) over 20 reports: 2 right, 5 partly right, 2 wrong, 11 not settled yet.
