> If you log laps with Track Running, the Ultra 2 won't give you a VO2 Max reading for now. Outdoor runs still get one, and Samsung hasn't said when the fix arrives.

A [Galaxy Watch Ultra 2](https://idevice.com/smart-watches/samsung-galaxy-watch-ultra/roadmap) owner posted on Samsung's Community forum that their watch wouldn't calculate VO2 Max after a track running session. [Android Authority translated the Korean error in Samsung Health](https://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-watch-ultra-2-vo2-max-error-3728454/): the app says the runner didn't go at least 10 minutes at 4 km/h or faster with a good GPS signal. The owner's screenshots show more than 10 minutes at well over 4 km/h, and they say the GPS was steady. Their outdoor runs in Samsung Health do show a VO2 Max value.

A forum moderator replied that Samsung's developers have confirmed the problem and plan to fix it in a future software update. The moderator didn't give a date.
