> Preorders are open at $2,195 with a $200 refundable deposit, for a fall ship in the US, UK and France. Snap has said since June that this generation is for developers and early adopters, so the four-hour battery is aimed at people who expected it.

Snap announced [Specs](https://idevice.com/smart-glasses/snap-specs/roadmap) at $2,195 in Beverly Hills, with a Snapdragon processor on either side of the frame and a bright built-in display for each lens, per [Android Headlines](https://www.androidheadlines.com/2026/09/snaps-specs-ar-glasses-are-official-at-2195-with-nvidia-and-salesforce-on-board.html). Most rivals put a single display in the right eye, Meta’s $799 Ray-Ban Display included. The glasses ship later this fall in the United States, the UK and France, and preorders are open now at that price with a $200 refundable deposit. Snap also announced Specs Intelligence, an AI assistant meant to work across the glasses, iPhones and Macs, and Spiegel said its pricing is not settled beyond a free tier and different rates depending on how much you use it.

The enterprise comes first, with NVIDIA, AWS and Salesforce named as launch partners. Spiegel told [Tom’s Guide](https://www.tomsguide.com/computing/smart-glasses/exclusive-snap-ceo-evan-spiegel-says-smart-glasses-disguised-as-normal-eyewear-are-creepy-why-specs-look-bold-on-purpose) that the last developer version weighed about 200 grams, too heavy to wear for the experiences Snap is aiming at, which is the problem this generation is meant to have solved. He told Mashable back in June that Specs were made for early adopters and developers rather than the general public, and nothing since has moved off that. Now there is a deposit to put down, and a four-hour battery rating to weigh against the $2,195.
