Google's Pixel Watch 5 is coming August 20, and it'll cost you $50 more than last year, $399 for the smaller 41mm model with Bluetooth only. There's a new color called Pyrite (a gold-toned shade, based on the mineral) joining the lineup. Google's holding its hardware event August 12 in New York City, where the Pixel 11 phones are also expected. A $50 price increase isn't dramatic, but it's a harder sell when the watch hasn't shipped yet and nobody's seen what justifies it.
