Smart glasses sales rise as hidden camera privacy concerns grow

Smart glasses are finally moving units, but hiding a face camera inside a designer frame does not make the camera less of a camera. The person sitting across from you still does not know they are being recorded, and a stylish frame gives them no visual warning that they would get from, say, a person holding up a phone. Making surveillance hardware look like normal eyewear removes the one social cue people rely on to protect their own privacy.
