The Short Version
Oura Ring 5, launching June 4 at $399, adds nighttime blood pressure monitoring, GLP-1 tools, and ResMed breathing diagnostics in a ring 40% smaller than Ring 4.
Oura Ring 5 launches June 4 at $399 and does something Apple Watch still cannot: monitor blood pressure at night and flag breathing patterns to a medical provider, all from a ring that is 6mm wide and lighter than most people's wedding bands. The blood pressure feature does not take a direct reading but reads artery stiffness through LED sensors, which is an important distinction. Independent labs have not yet verified the accuracy claims. Apple Watch has had years and a wrist full of sensors to get here first.
