Heart Health Score replaces Vascular Load

What we’re expecting

Heart Health Score combines activity data, sleep patterns, stress readings, and body composition into a single cardiovascular number, replacing the previous Vascular Load metric. It was confirmed alongside the others on June 4, 2026.

Samsung's Galaxy Watch 9 is replacing Vascular Load, last year's Galaxy Watch 8 feature that tracked cardiovascular stress, with something called Heart Health Score, a single daily number that folds in sleep, stress, activity, and body composition data together. Fewer screens to check, one number to act on. Whether the underlying data got better isn't clear from what Samsung's shared, but the presentation definitely got simpler.
