Is the Solos AirGo A5 worth it?

Buy the Solos AirGo A5 now if these are the glasses you want. No newer model is expected in the next three months, and they are audio glasses that put open-ear speakers and an assistant into ordinary-looking frames. If that is the job you want done, there is no reason to wait.

Who should get it

Get them if you want music, calls and a voice assistant without earbuds in your ears. They suit walkers, commuters and anyone who wants to hear the street while they listen. They work with an iPhone and with an Android phone, so your phone does not decide this one.

Look elsewhere if you want a screen or a camera. Rivals lead on the display and on the camera, and if either is why you want smart glasses, those pairs will serve you better.

What you get

Solos builds glasses around sound: speakers near your ears, microphones for calls, and an assistant you can talk to. Because the speakers sit outside your ears, you stay aware of the room and the road. We do not yet have evidence we can compare across brands on the assistant, the audio or comfort, so we do not rank them there. Prescription lenses can be fitted, so check that before you order.

Price and timing

Checked Nov. 4, 2026, the Solos AirGo A5 costs $249. We started checking this price only in November, so we cannot call it a low yet, but nothing suggests it is about to fall. Only a newer model announced or reported inside the next three months would turn this answer to wait, and none is in view today.
