INAIR 2 Pro vs Solos AirGo 3: which should you buy?

Get the INAIR 2 Pro. It is the stronger pair for gaming and movies. The Solos AirGo 3 is light audio glasses, at 36g against 80g, built for a different job.

Who should get the INAIR 2 Pro

Get the INAIR 2 Pro for the biggest private screen. INAIR describes a 135-inch virtual screen at 120Hz, with dimming that blocks almost all outside light, and a Steam Deck or Windows handheld plugs straight in. It works with limits on phones, since display glasses need a phone that sends video over USB-C, so check your model first.

Who should get the Solos AirGo 3

Get the AirGo 3 if you want audio glasses that look good and talk back. Solos gives them open-ear speakers, about 10 hours of music and ChatGPT by voice, with live translation for group conversations. They work with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

The differences that matter

The real split is the job. Display glasses put a big screen in front of your eyes for sitting still. Audio and assistant glasses are for walking around, talking and listening.

The INAIR pair is the one for a big private screen. The AirGo 3 is the one for music, calls and ChatGPT by voice while you walk.

Smart glasses only work if you keep wearing them, so fit matters more than any spec. Try a pair on if you can, and check what prescription lenses will cost before you order. A pair that pinches your nose or slides down on a warm day will end up in a drawer, whatever it can do.
