Get the RayNeo GT Max for the widest screen RayNeo makes. RayNeo describes a private cinema screen that fills a 59 degree field of view, with four speakers tuned by Bang and Olufsen, and handhelds connect over a single cable. It works with limits on phones, since display glasses need a phone that sends video over USB-C, so check your model first.

Who should get the Solos AirGo A5

Get the AirGo A5 if you want light audio glasses with an assistant. Solos lists about 10 hours of music per charge and a hands-free assistant you wake by voice, plus live translation for lectures and meetings. It works with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

The differences that matter

The real split is the job. Display glasses put a big screen in front of your eyes for sitting still. Audio and assistant glasses are for walking around, talking and listening.

The GT Max is the one for a wide private screen. The A5 is the one for music, calls and an assistant through the day.

Smart glasses only work if you keep wearing them, so fit matters more than any spec. Try a pair on if you can, and check what prescription lenses will cost before you order. A pair that pinches your nose or slides down on a warm day will end up in a drawer, whatever it can do.
