Solos AirGo V2 vs AirGo 3: which should you buy?

Who should get the Solos AirGo 3

Get the AirGo 3 if you want audio glasses that look good and talk back. Solos gives them open-ear speakers, about 10 hours of music and ChatGPT by voice, with live translation for group conversations. They work with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

Who should get the Solos AirGo V2

Get the AirGo V2 if you want glasses that take photos and play music for a fair price. It has a stabilized camera on the frames for photos and video, and Solos rates it for about 10 hours of music on one charge. It works with an iPhone and with an Android phone. Calls are not its strength: its microphone can be hard to hear on a windy walk.

The differences that matter

The AirGo V2 adds a camera. If you want photos from your glasses, it is the only one of the two that takes them.

Both play music and run an assistant, and both work with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

Smart glasses only work if you keep wearing them, so fit matters more than any spec. Try a pair on if you can, and check what prescription lenses will cost before you order. A pair that pinches your nose or slides down on a warm day will end up in a drawer, whatever it can do.

Price and value

Today the Solos AirGo V2 costs $299 (checked Nov. 4, 2026) and the Solos AirGo 3 costs $249 (checked Nov. 4, 2026). The Solos AirGo 3 is cheaper by $50.

Unless you want a camera, pick the Solos AirGo 3.
