Amazfit Helio Ring vs RENPHO LYNX: which should you buy?

The Amazfit Helio Ring and the RENPHO LYNX do different jobs. The Amazfit Helio Ring is the ring for training, with a readiness score that tells you when to rest. The RENPHO LYNX is the easy, no-fee ring for sleep, activity and cycle tracking.

Who should get the Amazfit Helio Ring

Get the Helio Ring if you train and want a ring that tells you when to push and when to rest. Amazfit builds its Readiness score from your sleeping heart rate and heart rate variability, and it tracks aerobic fitness and sports performance over time. It works with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

Who should get the RENPHO LYNX

Get the LYNX if you want to try a smart ring with no monthly fee and no fuss. RENPHO sells it with no subscription and a charging case in the box, and its free app includes cycle tracking. It works with an iPhone and with an Android phone.

The differences that matter

Neither ring leads on sleep tracking, battery life or comfort in our comparison, so those do not decide this. What each one does with your data does.

The Helio is built around fitness. Amazfit says it tracks aerobic fitness and sports performance alongside sleep. The LYNX keeps things simple, with the basics in a free app.

A ring is the quietest way to track sleep: no screen, nothing on your wrist, and nothing to wake you. Get your size right before you order, because a ring that sits loose reads poorly. Most makers send a sizing kit first, and it is worth the wait.

Price and value

Today the Amazfit Helio Ring costs $161.83 (checked Nov. 2, 2026) and the RENPHO LYNX costs $179.99 (checked Nov. 2, 2026). The Amazfit Helio Ring is cheaper by $18.

Pick the Helio to train smarter. Pick the LYNX to start simple.
