Zepp Health's updated software roadmap, which runs from October 2026 into February 2027, lists a single update for the Amazfit Active 2 Round, Active 2 Square and Bip 6, Gadgets & Wearables noticed. That one entry, due in November, is iOS notification forwarding for owners in the European Union, which lets iPhone notifications show actions, replies and images on the watch. Android owners get nothing from it, and iPhone owners outside the EU are left out too. Over the same months the Balance 3, Balance Ultra and T-Rex 3 range have route improvements, battery tools, ski tracking and Strava Live Segments lined up.

Zepp Health says the three watches are held back by hardware memory limits, and that future map optimisation, route navigation improvements, Training Calendar and training courses won't come to them. None of them has reached its end-of-life date: Zepp's security support page covers the Bip 6 until January 2027 and both Active 2 models until June 2028. So the watches keep working and keep getting security fixes, and the maps and route imports they already have stay put. If new training and navigation features matter to you, though, don't buy one expecting them to arrive.
