Apple's unannounced pendant is a flat disc of aluminium and glass, about the size of an AirTag. It is slightly thicker than one, and two cameras sit on the front, one standard and one wide-angle, per The Information. A speaker, a single button along one edge, and a magnetic charging pad on the back like the Apple Watch finish the description.
There is no screen. No projector and no haptics either, so nothing on the hardware itself shows you what it heard or saw.
What the one button does has not been described. Siri, the camera, or both are the options on the table, and the company has said nothing at all about the product it sits on.
An always-on camera and a microphone for Siri voice commands are the whole input list. That is a wearable whose entire interface is a button and a sentence you say out loud.
Gurman has called it reminiscent of the Humane AI Pin, the screenless wearable that failed. Apple has not acknowledged the hardware at all.
