The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is the first Galaxy Watch rated for diving, carrying EN13319 certification and a 10ATM rating alongside IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. The diving itself is not included. Tom's Guide put it plainly: "To access all of these cool dive-ready features, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 users will need to subscribe to the Mares app, which is $8.99 a month or $69.99 for the year."

Those figures are the Apple Watch ones. Digital Trends points out that "On watchOS, Mares charges $8.99 a month for full access, or $69.99 a year, with a $119.99 family plan for multiple divers." and that Samsung has not made its own numbers official. The app arrives later this year rather than with the watch, so the dive rating ships months before anything that uses it.
