Andy Boxall wore the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 before launch and came away talking about the strap. Android Police: "The shock resistant titanium case is 12% thinner, measuring 10.7mm, and the softer, lighter, thinner strap makes it feel so much less bothersome on your wrist." The 47mm case and the 1.52-inch screen have not shrunk. It just stops feeling like a tank.
Engadget's Cherlynn Low ran a different test: "I've had one for about a week, and forced myself to be the sort of outdoorsy person that this is aimed at to see how it holds up." She is weighing it against a $50 increase over the original, which is the question a spec sheet cannot answer and the reason a week on the wrist is worth more here than the launch numbers.
