How big is the Pixel 8 battery?

The Pixel 8 would have a 4,575mAh typical battery capacity with 27W wired charging and 18W Qi wireless charging.

Did it turn out to be true?

Partly right. Some of this was right and some of it was not. Kamila Wojciechowska reported it on Sep 25, 2023 in Android Authority. That was 9 days before Google Pixel 8 was announced on Oct 4, 2023. The 4,575mAh typical battery and 27W wired charging are correct. Pixel 8 can reach up to 18W wirelessly with Pixel Stand (2nd gen), but Google specifies up to 12W with generic Qi-certified EPP chargers, so '18W Qi wireless charging' is imprecise.
