What this is made of

• Live translation is adding 14 more languages

Meta announced 14 additional live-translation languages, including Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi and Korean. Availability varies by language and by market, so an announced language is not necessarily active on a given pair today.

  Right

• You can point the camera at something and ask Meta AI about it

Point the camera at almost anything and ask Meta AI about it in real time. No phone to pull out and no screen to look at.

  Right

• The glasses speak walking directions out loud

Meta Glasses speak turn-by-turn walking directions. Because there is no display, directions are delivered by voice instead of on-screen arrows. Navigation is available in beta in select cities rather than everywhere the glasses are sold.
