Samsung's Galaxy Ring 2 reportedly uses a silicon-carbon battery, a chemistry that packs more energy into less space than standard lithium-ion. That lets Samsung shrink the ring and still push battery from 7 days to around 10. It would put the Ring 2 ahead of Oura's Ring 5 but still behind Ultrahuman's Ring Pro, which claims up to 15 days.
