A Korean blogger who goes by yeux1122 says Samsung plans to raise prices across the Galaxy S27 range, Android Authority reports. The increases would apply “across various storage capacities and models.”
In Korea the jump runs from 100,000 won to more than 130,000 won, which is roughly $74 to $96. Those figures only cover Korea, so other markets could see smaller or larger increases. A straight currency conversion is only a rough guide to what a US buyer would pay.
The wording also leaves room for a wider gap between the storage sizes, on top of a higher price for every model. If so, stepping up in storage would cost more than it does now.
AI companies are buying up memory and other key components, and the shortage has pushed up prices on consumer electronics. Samsung was forced to raise its own phone prices in 2026, and the tipster says it plans to do so again.
Most versions of the Galaxy S26 cost more than their S25 equivalents, and only the base S26 Ultra held its price. The base S26 starts at $900 for 256GB, which is $100 above the 128GB S25 and $40 above the 256GB one. If the US increase matched the low end of the Korean range, the cheapest S27 would start around $974.
The S27 Pro and Ultra are also reported to be moving to UFS 5.1 storage (the flash chips that hold your files) and LPDDR6 memory (the RAM). Both are newer and more expensive than what those phones use now.
The S27 has no official price, and all of this rests on one tipster.
