The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is the first Galaxy Watch to run a Qualcomm chip. Samsung said so on stage on 22 July, and the leaker Jason C had it on 1 May, eighty-two days earlier.

Exynos W1000 is what it replaces, and Samsung's own silicon had powered these watches for years.

The part number never made it into the announcement.

The leaked spec sheet put it at the SW6100, a five-core part built on a three-nanometer process, with one core running at 2.1GHz and four at 1.95GHz. Samsung confirmed the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform and stopped there.

What the new chip adds is a dedicated NPU, a slice of silicon built only for running AI models on the watch rather than sending the work off to a phone.

The spec sheet gave a part number. The announcement gave a platform.
