Apple has all but given up on Vision Pro after the M5 model failed to bring back interest in the headset, MacRumors reported in April 2026.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has reported that the Vision Pro team was broken up and its members moved to other projects after the October 2025 refresh. MacRumors later reported that Apple had already canceled a redesigned Vision Pro 2 and a cheaper Vision Air as its attention shifts to smart glasses.

Apple has not said it is ending Vision Pro.
