A new Vision Pro headset is at least two years away, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who said in May 2026 that he would not expect one for "around two more years at least."

Gurman later said a cheaper, lighter successor is unlikely before late 2028 or 2029. Most of Apple's headset team has reportedly moved to work on smart glasses expected in 2027.

Apple has told Vision Pro staff the headset remains part of its plans, but it has not announced a new model.
