The phone could use two batteries totalling 4,883mAh

Regulatory filings released in July, surfaced by the leaker Digital Chat Station, describe a dual-cell battery split across the two halves of the chassis: 1,921 mAh on one side and 2,962 mAh on the other, 4,883 mAh combined. Tom's Guide reports Apple is sticking with conventional lithium-ion rather than the silicon-carbon cells rivals use to pack more capacity into the same thickness, which puts the total below every book-style foldable on sale except the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
