A dark green Pixel Buds Pro 2 appeared briefly on Amazon before the listing was pulled, matching the greens leaking across the Pixel 11 line. 9to5Google spotted it and reads the shade as darker than the phones, possibly the Moss or Pine names attached to the Pixel 11 colours.
9to5Google followed up with an Evan Blass render showing earbuds identical to the Pro 2 apart from the dome colour, closing the gap an earlier zoomed-out case image had left open. Pixel Buds Pro launched in 2022 and the Pro 2 in 2024, so a two-year cadence would be due. On this evidence the August 12 event brings a paint job instead.
