Did the Galaxy Watch 9 get sleep apnea detection?

Leaked materials show Sleep Apnea detection, Energy Score, Sleep Score, Vitals, and Running Coach features.

Did it turn out to be true?

Not comparable. This measured a different thing from the number the company published, so the two cannot be compared. Evan Blass reported it on Jul 20, 2026 in Android Authority. That was 2 days before Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 was announced on Jul 22, 2026. This is a claim about pre-launch software, firmware, code, or leaked material rather than a manufacturer-published shipped-product property, so the product cannot settle it.
