SammyGuru pulled the details out of Samsung's Buds Manager app in an APK teardown, along with the first image of the earbuds that looks like a product render rather than an app icon. Two rounded bulbs are joined by what appears to be a silicone loop. The larger one sits in the bowl of the ear and holds the drivers, while a flat end with a touch surface clips onto the outside. The render shows black, and the app points to a white version as well.
Auto Volume turns the sound up in noisier places and back down when things get quieter, and Volume Boost pushes it louder at the cost of more sound leaking out. The head nod and shake gestures from the Galaxy Buds 4 carry over, a touch or your voice can start a memo that is transcribed to text, and a One UI 9 feature pauses playback once your phone detects you have fallen asleep. The app shows no sign of active noise cancellation or of 360 audio with head tracking, which is a change from the Galaxy Buds Live, Samsung's last open earbuds.
