Snap Specs — pre-order open, $2,195
Pre-orders are open now with a $200 refundable deposit, shipping this fall in the US, UK, and France. These are true AR glasses — a see-through display layers digital images over the real world, no phone required. Confirmed specs: 51-degree field of view, 16 million colors, dual Qualcomm Snapdragon chips, 7ms latency, 4-hour battery with 20 more hours from the included case, 132g (47mm frame) or 136g (51mm). Resolution, brightness, and camera specs haven't been released yet.
Xreal Aura — reserve now, $99 deposit
A $99 deposit converts to $199 in purchase credit at launch — effectively $100 off. The $299 Founder Pass sold out in 36 hours. Final price is capped at $1,500, both deposits are fully refundable. Lightweight optical frames tethered to a separate compute puck, running Android XR with Gemini AI. Ships this fall in the US, UK, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, with Europe following.
Samsung Galaxy Glasses, Warby Parker, and Gentle Monster — free email signups
These three are the same product underneath. Samsung builds the hardware, Google's Gemini handles the assistant, and the glasses have a camera and speakers but no AR display. Warby Parker and Gentle Monster are each designing their own frames on that shared platform.
Warby Parker's signup is live now. Gentle Monster's signup is also live. No price announced for either.
Samsung Galaxy Glasses are expected at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 in London — no signup page yet.
What's not ready yet
Ray-Ban Gen 3 is expected at Meta Connect on September 23-24, no signup page. Apple Glasses are targeting late 2027, per Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
