Released Guide updated

Samsung's first ring is clean, light hardware with no subscription attached. It is built for Samsung phones first: on an iPhone it is effectively unusable, and even on Android it trails Oura on the quality of what it tells you. Some owners have said the finish wears sooner than they expected.

Where it shines

  1. Health

Stress levels and skin temperature feed into Samsung Health from a titanium ring that weighs as little as 2.3 grams.

  2. Sleep

Small and light enough to forget in bed, it tracks your sleep and checks for signs of sleep apnea with FDA-cleared detection.

  3. Fitness

Walks and runs get tracked, and with up to seven days per charge it rarely has to come off.
