Will the Ultra 4 measure blood pressure?
No. Apple's Ultra 4 spec sheet lists hypertension notifications and nothing beyond them, which is the feature the Ultra 3 already had. Reports had called the Ultra 4 the strongest candidate and said a feature was with the FDA. It did not ship on this watch.
How is this different from the current alerts?
Hypertension notifications watch for signs of chronic high blood pressure over time and tell you to get checked. The reported feature would have gone further. It did not arrive on Ultra 4.
