What will the Apple Vision Pro 2 have?

The Apple Vision Pro 2 is not announced, so none of its specifications are confirmed. What has been reported about it is below, followed by the Apple Vision Pro M5's figures for comparison.

How long does the battery last? It runs 2.5 hours. That is 2.5 hours at most, and 3 hours playing video.

Does it work with my phone? It works with an iPhone only. There is no Android app.

Apple released visionOS 27 today as a free update for both Vision Pro headsets. The headline feature is Siri AI, the rebuilt assistant that can draw on your personal information, and it works with Visual Intelligence so you can ask about objects in the room around you. To install it, open Settings, go to General and choose Software Update. The headset has to come off while it installs.

Almost all of it runs on the original M2 model. Apple keeps two features for the M5 headset: Siri voice customization and its improved on-device Dictation model. The rest of the update is spatial, with a new Thórsmörk Environment, curved windows, immersive Safari environments on supported sites and a way to turn panoramic photos into spatial scenes.
