The pendant has no internet connection or high-powered processor of its own. All AI computation runs on the paired iPhone, the deliberate opposite of Humane's standalone approach.
Apple's rumored AI pendant has its own chip, but don't expect it to do much on its own, it leans heavily on a paired iPhone to handle the processing work. Wearing it without your phone nearby would leave it running at reduced capability.
