Apple updated its iPhone service and repair page with fees for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the battery line now reads $129. That is $10 above the $119 Apple charges to replace a battery in the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro. Nothing else on the menu moved. Back glass damage still costs $159, a rear camera still costs $249, and a cracked screen is $329 on the Pro or $379 on the Pro Max. Apple says it will inspect the device before it settles on a final figure.

The cells themselves got bigger. Apple's EU tech specs put the iPhone 18 Pro at 4,056 mAh and the Pro Max at 5,391 mAh, up from 3,988 mAh and 4,823 mAh on last year's pair. AppleCare+ subscribers are unaffected and still get a free replacement once battery health dips below 80 percent, so the increase only reaches people paying out of pocket. For them it arrives in the same week the phones went up $100, and the $849 Apple wants for other damage on an iPhone 18 Pro is more than two thirds of what a new one costs.
